About Scarlet Nguyen: Scarlet is in her junior year studying Computer Science at UBC. Over the past few years, Scarlet has interned at numerous tech companies including Hootsuite, IMI.AI, Bolt, Google, Linkedin, and Slack. She is also planning to join Dropbox as a software engineering intern this summer. On Scarlet’s LinkedIn, you can find many useful resources, motivational posts, and other words of advice about her experiences!
About Sean Rong: Sean is in his final year studying Computer Science at UBC. He has previously worked software internships at Intel, Google and Amazon. He is one of UBC CSSS’s Co-VP External this year, and has been a valuable member of UBC ACM (Competitive Programming), where his team achieved Canadian Site Champion and 5th overall out of 80+ teams in 2019 Pacific-Northwest Regionals. After graduation, Sean will be returning to Google full-time as a software engineer.
